Who we are

The 1st Class Driving group has been providing quality driving lessons since the early 1970’s It is our mission to match all of the service & comfort advantages that you get with a National driving schools with the cost savings that we can give by being efficient and competitive.

Our success is based on all contact through one centre, using modern technology to best advantage and minimising overheads of property and management. We do not believe in local high street offices or replacing cars every six months because they add costs which have to be passed on the you as either higher lesson prices or by paying instructors less.

We firmly believe that instructors that are trained and paid well teach well - and that means that you will pay less by having to take less lessons.

The cornerstone of the 1st Class approach is twofold-

Driving Instructors - we have high expectations from all of our instructors so they  have to complete an extensive training program before starting with us. 1st Class Driving is one of only a few organisations that have met the ORDIT standards that the Driving Standards Agency require to register us as an approved Driving Instructor training organisation.

Reception - we believe that our pupils want and need a personal service, from anywhere in the country you can talk directly to us through one of sixteen incoming channels that connect directly onto a reception that is manned daily from 9 am to 7pm. Each receptionist is trained and can help on all aspects of learning to drive - their role is to to help you make the best from the instructors and facilities that we have.

Company Head Office is based in Sutton, Surrey and registered in England as a limited company. Other support Driving Instructor Training offices are located in Greenford(Middlesex).
