How can my Parents help?
Easy - by paying for your lessons!!! & giving you loads of practice in their car.
No - joking aside its your life at stake and if they add up the cost of bringing you up and the time, effort & pain they have gone through it will pale into insignificance when compared to the cost of you learning to drive safely.
They obviously want you to pass your test - but they also want you to be able to drive safely. So even if they can't afford to fund all of the lessons suggest that they help you with paying for a 6 week starter course and you then fund any further lessons that you may need. £450 on their credit card is a small amount for the pleasure you are going to be able to repay to them by being able to taxi them around & pick them up late at night when they have far to much to drink!!
If not then Grandparents are often good targets to help you fund your course - You know that you never visit them often enough and the prospect of you being able to do can be very attactive to them!
As a last resort it is better to try to borrow a chunk of money from your credit card or wherever so that you can get through, at least, the initial stages without having to struggle by taking lessons less often than weekly.
We will help by giving you the first lesson at £10 - because were so good that we want to prove it to you.
Best of luck - but if you need any ammunition try the following:
Parents - drop into the conversation sometime that you are really keen to get a motorbike!
Elder Brother/Sister - "I'll be able to collect you and your mates from the Disco"
Grandparents - "i always wanted to come and see you more often - but I can't get there"
Email us any other good ones that work to add to the site & we'll give you a free lesson to help
